Like the idea of a different city, but this issue was very blah. Kaine is not very interesting at all, yet. Liked the art, but wasn't blown away by it.

Perfect jumping on point. I have never seen anything about the character before this book. If this article made it sound appealing to you, then definitely grab it.

Okay, there are some GREAT comics being put out right now:

I am so sad to be agreeing with you. Love GM, but this comic is about to be dropped by me. I am relatively new to his work but I just don't care for Rags Morales layouts or faces. Each issue feels like it's missing pages to me. Makes me sad because if I drop this book I will not be reading a Supe book, due to the

The best comic related non-comic item.

I like NoBody! He looks cool and stuff.

Avenging Spider-Man is a blast, too, if you haven't checked that out.

The last DD issue made me tear up. I love Mark Waid.

I am really digging where Tomasi is taking B&R. I like that book a lot.

Yeah, Tony Daniel is the anti-Snyder right now. What a dumb, dumb book. It laughs in the face of nuance.

I don't read a ton of Marvel, but this book and both Avenging and Amazing Spider-Man strike me as very decidedly fun. I am enjoying Waid's run and interested to see what he and Slott cook up for the Spidey/DD crossover.

Do you read Animal Man as well? Reading that alongside Swamp Thing is a real treat.

Just finished Batman: Black Mirror. Holy crap was that good. Scott Snyder is demonstrating some true mastery in that Detective Comics run. That is one of the best stories I have ever read, Batman or otherwise.

I don't read a lot of Fantastic Four, but I picked up and LOVED this issue. Will be following it for a while. But not FF.

Yes, yes, yes.

Yea, I loved the first two, but this one has me worried. I don't want all those crazy Morrison ideas to be muddled by a bad presentation and/or artist juggling. Definitely going to stick with it.

I agree, somewhat. Though right now it's been a better value than Action Comics. Which almost seems to be missing pages this month because the story is disjointed.

I think that B & R has shaped up in the 3rd issue into a fine book. I like the Alfred and Damien dynamic a lot, as well as seeing Batman suck so badly at something. He's a horrible parent thus far. The are is a little lacking for me, though.

Right now my favorite books are probably Mark Waid's Daredevil and Scott Snyder's Batman. Both really get what about those characters/worlds that really appeal to me. Those comics are fun to read!

You are winning the internet right now. In this very thread. Thank you.
