I agree.  I used to listen to every one, then I needed a break.  Now, I mostly just look at who the guest is, and if there's someone I really want to hear, I listen.

Maybe, and I'm trying to stay optimistic.  The ability to remember lines isn't what makes someone a good or bad actor, however.  There are a lot of factors, and not as many crossover with stand-up as with other comedic art forms.
