very fair…we all appreciate the work the writers do (everyone who works on this site) but we also want to exercise the right to discourse and debate - one of the best things about being American! we all watched the show and have our own opinions and come here to read the reviewer's opinion as much as to share our own

oh my goodness, he did it out of research??!? i hope he won the case bc I can't imagine doing that let alone for nothing!!! i mean if a criminal could win a law suit for having it done to him, then you know it must be bad

and also, Walt was coughing A LOT through this entire episode, another sign that the cancer has returned —— so will that figure into this season or next??? i think he is going to die by the cancer when all is said and done and most other characters will be taken out too

i agree, but this show really is about walt and his moral (immoral?) journey— but @vanesssak69   this show is also about Jesse so i am very suprised- though i can see it as a possible direction to kill Jesse looking back at season one, it really would be a different show, and i am not confident as good of one -

this is exactly what i said a few posts earlier, it made no sense to me and seemed like a misstep in the writing, and i understand that Gus wants Walt to mess up but no not really, Gus will do what he wants to do, he doesnt need just cause or justification, if he wants to kill Hank he will kill him, and he doesn't

it solved the fact that noone really wants to see him on the show anymore

oh my goodness, what happens in future episodes should have NO BEARING on what or how the current episode is graded, you can't pit individual episodes against one another, esp from the series, you have to look at how each contributes/adds/detracts from the story up to that point, how everything is unfolding (not how

no, i think you are right, i think that whole scene in the desert (coupled with the fact that Jesse can now cook on his own) shook the reality into Walt that he may be ok today but definitely not for long, and if someone threatens your family, conditionally or not, i would think you don't take chances and act fast
SO

he's not killing him bc he has no just cause, he hasn't killed him bc Jesse doesnt want him to and won't cook if he does - and there is no guarantee that Jesse will think that Walt tipping off the DEA will change Jesse's mind…i know Jesse hates Hank but he really does have some kind of loyalty to Walt, almost like

is this a serious question?? i mean i can tell you - ok so he's kind of crazy to begin with, very violent, bad temper, yes, ciriminal activity (street kid like Jesse, but mean hearted, less intelligent, no conscience like most of them are), but he got arrested when he was young and tazed by police really badly but

me too, i am rooting for Gus AND Walt - Gus! who wants to kill babies! and Walt - who could care less who he hurts if they get in his way that it's scary.   I see Jesse as like this poor soul who needs saving and has to win - but damn, this guy is meth slinging junkie, but still….i even like Marie and Hank and Skylar

paying the IRS is doing right!!! if you think you are sunk and all of a sudden someone gives you $600,000 to solve a major portion of your problems, then if you want to start over right, you pay your debts, i am not saying the IRS is a great thing, but not paying is still like stealing the money and he clearly doesn't

then he is pure stupidity, it's like what's the point of buying a benz or restarting a company when you WONT BE THERE TO DO ANYTHIING WITH THEM…well, he got got, the stupid always do

ohh i think a lot of people will be going down before the series ends, probably most….Gilligan's who point is that there has to be consequences, you can't just be bad and get away with it, there has to be a moral equilibrium…oh it's coming

no, bc they all love Hank and he is their family…that is like saying let's get rid of the Holly (the baby) bc she hasn't been here that long anyway and we can't afford her to make her disappear with us right now (i don't like writing that but…)
that has not been the point of all Walt has done —-and I have a sister, we

me too, still an A! lolol….ok ok i'll let it die

i just vomited a little hearing that….this is exactly why the grades matter….what a misrepresentation

@Noel Murray pretty much!!! lololol no, but at least give us something more substantive and SPECIFIC as to why it wasn't the greatest —— last week I understood bc a lot of people had problems with the Ted/Skylar subplot —-but I didn't take from this review what was so problematic—-not enough "exploration" of

yeah but now you are a part of that about which you complain….lady doth protest too much??

wait, i am not sure why it matters when he told Saul to notify the DEA??  if the reason he was fleeing was bc he was notifying the DEA, then it would still be prudent to tell them last bc that buys him more time to get his stuff together and leave——in fact no matter what the reason, waiting to tell them till the last
