i agree, this was the first episode I actually could sit and watch through entirely, and though a few too many of the scenes seemed contrived or exaggerated, there were a few that were genuine and genuinely endearing - particularly the last scene with Marnie coming home to find Hannah dancing to an emblematic song

actually the kid from about a boy is extremely good looking as an adult. When my sister and I watched him in A Single Man we assumed he was a legitimate model-turned-actor.  He was a cute kid but I wasn't expecting that!!!

and Glen/Weiner's son will be fine. I think all kids are cute but even if he went through an

CRAZY PILLS! you took the words out of my mouth bc that is how I feel watching Ivy v. Karen with Ivy playing second fiddle!! -Megan Hilty is the only reason I watch this show. I sit there for an hour hoping she will sing a solo at some point. Do the writers think we are that stupid that we can't see how her talent is

yes, i agree with what you are saying….. but I think well-written characters are so bc nearly everyone can relate to them, no matter who they are or their context, you HAVE to be able to understand them or at least empathize with them - that is what separates the good from the bad in television.People don't care

i have to agree with @avclub-b03b8d4bf8d4e3922a8c0b867e4f2ce0:disqus  i love shows about girls too AND i love all of the quality shows that many AV Clubbers like….but I don't get the appeal of this show, sure we are all self-obsessed idiots at 24 - but not all girls are sex-obsessed privileged, spoiled brats (bc that

me too! i loved this movie so much, i was like 16 or 17 when it came out and I watched it constantly (like once or twice a week for a LONG time). I bought the VHS which I still have today.  But I don't know what it was, but I LOVED angeline jolie in this, before she was ANGELINE JOLIE. I thought she was so beautiful,

oh please these two don't even know each other. Don chose her because she and his kids mimiced some familial fantasy tableau that he seemed to need at the moment to distract him from the crap that fills his life and he was probaby in the mood to get engaged on that day…..you could literally ____________  (insert

absolutely, the whole series parallels the sopranos (Don=Tony Soprano, and you could go down the chain of command with SCDP men and Peggy and their miserable home lives) which doesn't bother me one bit since these are probably my two most favorite shows ever (sorry, have to leave room for Breaking Bad)

she is sexy, except for her face

i didn't realize how much I liked her as mandy, till she was gone:(
but Levy is the reason I watch suburgatory

@ mickeymammoth    not to us, but there is if you're a  nine year old Debbie…

this was a great episode….and I am baffled as to why anyone (still) finds Debbie's interest in Little Hank baffling?? Many of us expounded on its "natural order of things" type normalcy. Good girls like bad boys, the better the girl, the badder the boy…..psych 101 anyone?  or maybe our comments are ignored???

that's exactly what I was thinking - which might mean that Kev and V can't conceive themselves, i guess??? it would be a weird situation with them living next door and all, it's not like they are going to have Lip go away to college after all and never return to the Gallagher house

i agree, i am sure their connection is much deeper and grander and more important than they currently let on…..when they had tyler arrested  I kept thinking that the entire storyline was so stupid bc Tyler essentially effected nothing on the show, but now his character and involvement makes total sense. Everything

rachel is actually a great competitor - at both physical and mental challenges (ok, not math, but she did well at many of the competitions that involved answering questions on BB)…the thing with her is that she I think is actually a nice person but she does things that people take the wrong way (bc she doesn't make it

Oh my goodness! I watched it twice and missed that part bc I stopped right when the ABC logo popped up but now i see him….. that is the funniest thing, with Cranston's sinister look, esp bc of course i think WW is responsible for Jane's death

i apologize, but what is the reference?? i have seen every episode of BB but i am missing something….

i was thinking the same thing you were —- aside from the reference to moniker given to Madison Avenue advertising men in the 50s, there's some lot double entendre in that too about 50s era repression, 60s social upheaval, general human frailty….it's a loaded title, very smart as is everything else about the show

it's almost like they introduced too many storylines/characters at once to allow anyone to get adequately invested in any one of them, that and they're kind of boring

I don't know much about Nick Jonas (or any or the Jonas brothers for that matter), but he sang suprisingly well, i enjoyed watching his performance (and I am assuming he played the piano himself, though perhaps I am assuming too much)
