Your post is bad and you should feel bad.

That photo is kind of terrifying.

Huh. This actually sounds worth seeing. I do love atmospherically run-down buildings.

I often wish I liked Hollywood movies of this era more. Not that I dislike them as it is,  but I end up feeling like a philistine for not getting as much out of them as Marty Scorsese does.

Just stop already.

This sounds kind of awesome.

Your logic is infallible.

Would I like this being apparently the only person in the world who didn't like Scream?

I'm glad someone else likes The Stendhal Syndrome. It takes hutzpah to direct your own daughter in a rape scene.

I know it's a hipstery thing to say, but they've never topped that first EP. I keep hoping they will, though.

I actually prefer this to Dersu Uzala (which I like a lot, but it'd put it about middle of the pack as far as Kurosawa goes.)

This is why the Hulu subscription is worth it. Kalatozov should be better known.

Blessed is where they really came into their own. It's their "Sports", you might say.

Your mom is Cher?

That's like saying Keith Richards was the most sober member of the Rolling Stones.

Seriously, somebody just give Henry Rollins a show again (I'm assuming the one he had was cancelled, anyway). He's the only thing approaching a pundit that I find worth listening to at all.

I dunno, Cage's willingness to do stupid things for money matches up well with Vince's.

That's the twist at the end. Way to spoil it for us, Sam.

I love a good mood piece (especially ones with long silences), but this plot sounds like something Stephanie Meyer would have rejected as too over the top.

"not being racist is the new racism."
