It's sort of the anti-"Next time on Mad Men" isn't it? You still can't quite tell what's supposed to be happening but damn if they aren't giving every character Their Biggest. Momment. Yet. in each preview.

What I don't understand is, why a big family dinner with the Kennish family? Why couldn't Toby just try to arrange a lunch date between Bay and Lana? Or, if the every plot must converge at the Kennish house that night, have Lana pick them up and get mixed up in everything that way?
Well, she did cover the Gummy Bears theme…
I love that episode, if only for how they tell Lister from the Psiren. And how he reacts to that. "I resent you saving my life in this way" gets a surprising amount of play in my house.

Well that settles it. I'm in love with Arthur Chu.

Add "American Pie' playing over the credits and it becomes almost perfectly awful.
The music is a mess though. Not quite WKRP levels, but still pretty bad. That would be a huge point against streaming for me.
I imagine there are issues of "going out and getting that disk is so much more satisfying!" not being applicable to certain people too. Are you still ruining the industry if you stream because there's no friendly local video store to bike to?
Honestly, I suspect the tenuous fates of certain beloved cult comedy shows, combined with reviewing shows that eventually got HUGE, like Cheers, has poisoned the well a little here. I like to think of it like the site's Mid-Life Crisis.
Weirdly enough, I don't expect this kind of thing from Cracked but I do from this site. AV Club is quick to revise or corrects errors, Cracked is slightly less likely to push out something that's not ready in the first place. Except for some of their videos. I mean both sites with that last bit.
Heh, in my house, the most popular episodes, beside that one Thanksgiving one where they kept sending Cliff out, were the "Vanessa fucks up AGAIN" episodes. And that one with the Muppets.
You're being "thread-beat up"? Wow, you aren't joking about being sensitive.
Lousy government, telling me what to fear. I'll fear what I want - rabid spider monkeys.
Alrighty? Andy is doing sidekick schtick (and has been since returning) and I know that's not everyone's thing. I was just a little perplexed by your seeming attempt to characterize the entire show that way.
Well that's just missing the point. Ironic comedy can be deployed effectively but the viewer has to be willing to recognize it as such (and not write it off as a confirmation of a lack of quality, like you did) for it to work. Otherwise say, Norm MacDonald is grating and not freaking hilarious.
"There, guys. It was hard, it was dirty, but I got it off my chest (this
is when Andy, Conan, or both would say, "That what she said!")"
