Thanks to an article here and to commenters' recommendations, I read Omega men. I hadn't enjoyed a comic that much for quite some time. So thank you, I guess.

I really don't understand the appeal of toys (if you don't have children). What do you do with them afterwards ? Some merchandise I unserstand, clothes and the like. It's the action figures I don't see the point of. I'm not trying to be snarky or dismissive of the people who buy them. I'm genuinely curious.
Kings
I'd watch that. With James Roday as Bucky.
I loved that show. I wish it had gone on longer.
The whole movie was gorgeous, and I thought the young actors were spot on. It's a pity all this was eclipsed by Carey's over the top count Olaf.
That's weird. I think it's the right age to read those books. Plus it isn't like there isn't any horrible stuff in the fairy tales we tell kids when they are much younger.
I'd say 8 to 12 but for good readers.
I really enjoy Lost Army. The action is fun, the art is good and the interactions between the characters are interesting.
This looks very good, and I probably will watch it, but I feel very apprehensive. For some reason it reminds of a very realistic BBC movie from a few years ago, beautifully shot and acted about the war in Yugoslavia. It was called Warriors. I barely could make it to the end and it really stuck with me.
I'll add myself to the list of people buying it. It seems terrific, and I decided to drop Black Canary which just doesn't click for me.
That's the cliffhanger for the first season finale : the smuggling came from INSIDE the country !
Well that's disappointing. Based on the headline I expected a comedic reboot of Moonfleet.
First time I saw it was at night, alone with my sister in a very isolated house. About five minutes later something fell very loudly in another room. Our reaction would probably have been hilarious had there been anyone to see it
Very true. And, to my mind, not only thanks to the actor playing Lyle.
I don't know, he doesn't seem to have a lot of range, but I think that what he has fits perfectly his character in Penny Dreadful: restrained, trying to repress himself for obvious reasons, and still slightly threatening. And, especially in his interactions with Sembene, he managed to bring warmth and humour to…
Last night Gus as a tie with Dual Spires !
Not at all. But instructions from the ministry of education are always good for a laugh in the teachers lounge until you remember that they really expect you to conform to their vague rhetoric.
Not where I'm from ! According to the latest instructions from the ministry, we have to teach them through art and literature and knowledge how to get in touch with their feelings so they can be good citizens !
A lawyer taking on pedestrian cases ? Preposterous ! Why not a scientist spending all his time looking for funding ? A teacher doing his job ok but not in a very inspirational way ?
