I was a bit doubtful about Ashi's outfit last week but this week I thought it really worked. It's both moving because it reflects Ashi's discovery of everything she was deprived of, and it manages to look rather badass, paradoxically.

That is why I like the DCAU first contact between the two the best. There is rivalry at first and even a short fight, with Superman getting a wonderful WTF face when Batman throws him on a table. The rivalry is also between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, which was inspired. And you can also see the beginning of a…
Come on, it can't be as boring as the first one, right? At least the charisma blackhole that is Kristen Stewart isn't in it.
In Athens it was allowed with rather strict rules (It had to stay in the private sphere and so on, there was to be no payment or force… Everybody agreed even at the time that the matter was extremely intricate). In Sparta the older lovers were indeed supposed to inspire the younger ones. It reflects age division. …
Now children, let's be nice. We'll say you both had first post. Tease87 you can share, right?
Have you ever tried to teach the Greco-Persian wars and the history of Sparta after this movie got out? I have to spend five minutes making all the jokes and references myself to get it out of the way. I hate Snyder so much. Miller too, because let's spread the blame.
Not really understanding what's going on was part of the appeal for me in Injection. It builds a terrific atmosphere, a sense of guilt and doom that wouldn't be as strong if everything was revealed at once. And once it is, as has been pointed out, everything gets clear and all the more amazing.
I don't get why they seem to think that Chopper can be a thing. He must be boring for kids too.
The trailer makes it seem like this movie has crossed into the not-even-enjoyable-with-friends-and-drunk territory.
I was alluding to the cartoon version, which is quite sweet and fun.
Not the rom com elements I want. I still want Bruce seducing Lois under Clark's nose with a shit eating grin. That was and obviously will remain the best version of Batman vs Superman.
Ma and Pa Kent really were made into crazy redneck cultists with the whole people outside will hate you stuff.
Thanks. I was almost feeling guilty for not liking Jessica Jones. But I now see I'm not alone! I thought the main actors were good, but there were far too many detours in the plot, and it was just too overwhelmingly bleak for my taste. It felt like the writers decided to go full serious.
That's the song that came to my mind first.
Sorry, I've reached the limits of my english with that word. It's mercerie in french, and there are plenty of shops that still do it. They sell fabric, buttons, sewing implements and so on. There are at least 4 I can think of within walking distance of my place.
It really depends on where you live, but have you tried a haberdasher's? They usually have that sort of things.
Precisely my point. The movie doesn't seem to get it.
I watched Watchmen (heh) out of curiosity after reading the book. Well I'm sorry to say that it sort of spoiled the book for me, mainly by showing me how the book could be understood in a way that I found wholly unpleasant.
I wouldn't listen to this for too long, but it made me want to watch the potential movie associated with it.
It redeems the entire movie before it.
