Riffing on the "Would you like this TV character as a real-life friend?" idea from the inventory, I have to say if I knew anybody from this commercial I would straight-up murder every last one of these motherfuckers.

A number of years back a friend lent me a DVD to watch while sick from the flu, saying it was his favorite movie ever and that he'd watched it dozens of times.

This has to be the best piece of writing I've ever read on this site. And that's saying a lot.

Oh, I bet Moffat has some absolutely ridiculous timey-wimey ideas for the 50th.

We all usually try to forget about that one season when Frank and Dale left the county and were replaced by their lookalike cousins, Ben and Don.

Same here. To me, this was when Billy Corgan's head began disappearing up his ass. (Or at least when it became apparent.)

I saw Summer With Monika, because I'm slowly falling for Bergman. I'd only seen Persona and Hour of the Wolf until then, but, yeah, he's living up to his reputation. (And it's hilarious how Monika was basically a skin flick in the states for fifty years, due to one ass shot and, uh, the perils of single fatherhood?)

…and another straw man is down for the ten count! Another fabricated argument won by the duck!

At Thanksgiving dinner about ten years ago, the Fox network thought the first Austin Powers was an appropriate post-football family film. About ten minutes into the movie, my 85-year-old grandmother—who could barely see or hear much of anything—looked at all of us and asked, "What's the point of this picture?"

It's also a total ripoff of Spinnerette's much interesting video for "Ghetto Love," right down to the tilted hat. Also, Brody Dalle is hotter.

Caught on second viewing: Bane remarking "What a lovely voice!" in regards to the young singer at the football game. Of course he would enjoy that; for years he sacrificed his safety to protect a child in the prison. Bane likes kids, apparently. (At least before blowing them up witht the rest of the city.)
