Yeah, the original Onion/AVC review got it right: the movie makes no attempt at substance and focuses solely on style. It's basically a feature-length music video. I say this as a huge fan.

Didn't PJ also cancel a tour temporarily during the Ticketmaster fight? I seem to remember people supporting PJ's overall mission of reducing prices and whatnot, but then getting pretty upset that they wouldn't see them in concert. Like they had just taken the fight too far.

Gotta agree on Season 3's final eight. It's probably the best run of the show. It cranked up the "no easy choices" to a nearly masochistic degree, gave us a kickass Michelle Dessler who nearly stole the show from Jack, and a one hell of a finale whose final moments are probably where the show should have stopped.

Will miss it
Yeah, 24 was at best uninspired for the past few years but it always had flashes of awemsomeness here and there. Loved the finale. I felt very satisfied with the final countdown clock.

I've seen speculation that the movie may be misdirection. I have no clue whether that's true or not, but there seems to be nothing about it on the web except Sutherland and other writers claiming "the script is done." No official announcement from Fox or anything.
