Bloodborne is probably the way to go, PS4-wise, but if you haven't played Dark Souls 2 yet, Scholar of the First Sin is the best possible version of that wonderful game. The two of them are the only two PS4 games that have held my interest at all yet (granted, I haven't tried The Witcher 3).

I'll be checking out your Rosalina level as soon as I feel like I've done enough work to get up from my computer! (Ah, the joys of working from home, where no one says anything if you alternate actual work with Gameological…)

You just reminded me that I own Bayonetta by virtue of owning Bayonetta 2! I'll have to add that to the list.

Loved the big finale to your Super Mario World campaign, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed that you aren't dropping a crazy set of Special World levels this weekend!

I am making a sincere reply to your original post without trying to ins—

Played some of your childrens' (am I right to go multiple?) Mario Maker courses this week. They're clearly made by kids, but none of them start with an offscreen Thwomp just dropping on you before you even move, so you should be very proud!

Ah, but by the law of Zelda critical acclaim cycles, Skyward Sword will only remain the worst until about one-and-a-half months after Zelda WiiU releases, at which point Zelda WiiU, acclaimed upon release, will be widely acknowledged as the worst until about one-and-a-half months after Zelda NX drops.

Sabin or GTFO

I never really thought about it, but Nintendo's consistently high prices do have an upside for the consumer! I do find that every time I buy some indie game on my PS4 it turns out to be only a week or so before they give it away for free anyways.

I know you aren't going to be glad I said this, but I buy most major Nintendo releases on release day and never have a problem!

Best Fallout 4 experience for me thus far was feeling like a great boyfriend for picking it up for my girlfriend while she was out of town and going through the install process for her. I probably won't play the game. Fallout as a janky, bug-ridden first-person shooter that overwhelms you with too much loot and too

Everyone here is freaking out over nothing. There is no chance that this hack demagogue with far-right, racist political views is going to get the Republican nomination, let alone the presidency. The serious, moderate choice of the establishment always wins.

I feel pretty much how you felt: some of them were cool, some of them less so! I feel similarly about the Official courses I tried. That said, I do at least feel some confidence that those channels are unlikely to be used for infuriating troll levels!

It's the "die right at the start of the level if you aren't already holding the right direction" levels that get me.

My friend, the tools are now available to make your dream a reality!

I "discovered" that already (by reading about it from someone else on the Internet)! I won't spoil it for you, but try it a few times! It's definitely a cool Easter Egg!

My understanding is that it's just that: rights for all original SMRPG characters are shared by Nintendo and Square. I'm assuming these shared rights are part of the reason they haven't rereleased the game on WiiU Virtual Console (Square had real presence in the Wii eShop but I don't think anything of theirs has

Mario Maker, Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, and maybe some Yoshi's Woolly World for me! That's right… my girlfriend is gone away for the second consecutive weekend, so I'm going to see if I can't overdose on whimsy!

Oh, I have no doubt that that's what they meant! (Or possibly, "reminding ourselves how horrible fat people are motivates us to stay fit").

On a related note, it actually really sucks that now my (and probably many others') first response to hearing about a really interesting game like this isn't "oh, that's a really cool idea" rather than "ha, this will really piss off those juvenile little jerks."
