If I don't finish the last chapter of my thesis during the next couple of weeks of relative downtime, I'm going to be spending late Autumn working 60 hour weeks.

I don't know how I did it, but me and Lucatiel slaughtered the Flexile Sentry NG+ fight first try! I don't think she even took 50% damage, and I only Estused once.

The hugeness of Xenoblade Chronicles both thrilled and ultimately defeated me. I got so caught up in completing sidequests that by the time I returned to the main storyline I was mowing through boss fights in 20 seconds. When X comes out I'm going to need to learn that it's sometimes okay to say no when a guy asks you

With the move out of the way (you know, if you don't count the many hours of unpacking, shopping for curtains and other housewares, and making extensive improvements to a very nice apartment that has been left in very bad shape by the shitty previous tenants), I'll be back to my Dark Souls II NG+ run.

So she can drip wax on him after she removes the candle from his ass. DUH.

The most recent time I attempted to get a band together, our best song by far began with me getting the drummer to just straight up steal the beat from the Veldt.

III and VI for me. VI because that is one of my favourite games of all time and I love everything about it. III because it makes the overworld seem so lonely, which is appropriate when you find out you've lived your whole life on a floating island that is only a small part of the world.

I did finish Wonderful 101! It was every bit as glorious as you had led me to believe!

Plus, it's effective: it's one of the few times someone confronts Vic with who he really is and he can't turn away or blow it off.

If you ever decide to update this, may I make the following suggestion for your "Drunk Karting" card?

Man, just click that little minus button and collapse the thread if it makes you that angry!

There's some inept writing/execution in the story scenes. I don't think it was the creator's intention to render Samus as weak or dependent on men, but a few scenes definitely gave people that impression.

I had similar concerns, but I actually found that Fusion looked pretty nice all blown up on my flatscreen. Like discovering a new SNES game that I somehow missed in my childhood.

I always felt that the space station gained some atmosphere points because of the X parasites. You're basically in a giant biodome simulating the territories of six other planets, except by the time you get there the entire thing is populated by one species.

I'm the least objective person in the world to weigh in on this, but I'd say Mario 3D World is totally worth $375 by itself!

You have heard correctly regarding Mario 3D Land, my friend. Definitely some high quality post-game content. Although the best post-game content for Mario 3D Land is Mario 3D World, which takes the gameplay ideas of the first and really refines them into something special. And makes 4-player 3D platforming into an

This is why we have force-feedback controllers!

I liked the aesthetic uniformity—as a one time thing. I'm definitely glad we went soaring off into space instead of to another vacation resort the next time Mario went on a big 3D adventure.

Dark Souls 2 and "Moving all my shit upstairs to my girlfriend's apartment because we live in the same building but her roommate's keeping the apartment so she doesn't have to be out as early as me so we can move in together."

Escape Plan was a pretty middling B-movie, but his performance was by far the highlight. He's underrated as an actor because a) he's an action star and b) he has an accent, but the man has presence and can actually inhabit a character when he's not just playing his screen persona.
