The latest Simpsons episode, A Totally Fun Thing Bart Will Never Do Again, had Matt Warburton as the writing credit. He's now writer and consulting producer on Community since Digital Exploration of Interior Design.

Great episode.

Agreed about NBC's atrocious batting average.

I don't share your confidence.

It's a low baseline but it will seem more favourable if the network is falling faster as a whole.

I loved RCT but felt it was more mildly amusing than funny. I can certainly understand how people could dislike the episode.

Community's ratings suck, but it's remarkable just how stable its ratings are compared to the rest of NBC's Thursday lineup.

Sweet, didn't know that existed. Thanks.

I loved Todd's review of Glee's I Kissed A Girl. I still read his reviews of Glee despite giving up on the show years ago.

You make a compelling argument, and I concede the point (although Annie seemed out-of-character throughout the episode).

This 'zombie' argument crops up again and again, and it's not one I like.

Parks and Recreation has a simpler format and does less elaborate plotlines, but I suspect it's as difficult to write an episode of P&R as it is Community.

The issue isn't that people won't recognise the parody, it's that a reference should never be the joke in itself.

The problem isn't the yam, the problem was that the characters magically turned into a Law & Order characters afterwards.

A poor episode.

I thought the plots were fine, the problem is that the show didn't bring out the best out of any of them. The show isn't funny enough, the characters aren't strong enough, and (unlike the last episode) this time around the plot wasn't shocking enough to compensate for those flaws.

Whenever Alison Brie's not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Alison Brie?"

Yeah. I'm trying to figure out why, but it's remarkably difficult to find past Canadian television schedules on the Internet.

…so the new episode of Parks and Recreation premiered a couple of days early in Canada.
