You all seem to be ignoring that this is likely the reason NBC hasn't yet announced their renewals yet.

We're at the mercy of what sites are relaying until the press release filters down.

I can imagine Bob's Burgers getting picked up by a cable channel (probably Comedy Central) if it's axed by Fox. I doubt it's particularly expensive to produce, its ratings are fairly solid, and it's the sort of cult show that would do very well on cable.

It's possible that Citytv will continue to broadcast it, as international deals are done through the distributor.

I think this is a bit of a perfect storm: ABC had a great year and have ended up with too many comedies, ABC Studios want it to reach syndication, and TBS wants to expand into original comedy programming after very successful year (thanks to TBBT).

I don't think Parks is coasting as much as it got stuck in a rut with election plotlines and its writing isn't quite as sharp as it used to be.

Totally agree.

Wow, that was painful. Leno's super-scripted and inorganic style is terrible, Brie doesn't have the comic timing to tell stories as a monologue, and combined it fell flat.

The TV season runs for 36 weeks, minus a 4 week break over Christmas.

NBC ordered 18 episodes of Parenthood last season.

I imagine a lot of people wouldn't be interested in only watching the second half of a two-part episode.

It looks like Community Season 2 is getting a UK DVD release on 24 September. All the major online retailers (Amazon.co.uk, HMV, Play) have it listed for release on that date.

It's not a vote of confidence but ratings are what matter.
