Radiohead: Sorry.
The Hollies: Fuck you, pay me.

All the Breaking Bad ones lose a bit of punch when watched with the (baffling) censorship of AMC. What's up with that, America?

@avclub-615e85318c18d18b6901b69196261c5e:disqus I might have read your comment wrong, but Ob-La-Di and Rocky Raccoon are both McCartney songs, so Lennon's voice is only backing.

Sort of like Fosters in America, then. You can get it in Australia, but it's nowhere near as prevalent and you'd never see it on tap at a pub. It's basically a con on the American beer-buying public.

Is there any possibility that the Disqus system upgrade will affect, say, my inability to use my AVClub Disqus account over at the Dissolve (it currently doesn't for some reason)? Not that I…go there and want to comment, of course.

Indeed. That trailer seems to be done specifically for the US release, though. I can't say for sure but I think the original Australian trailer is slightly less spoilery.

But Thandie Newton!

Me too. LET'S HAVE A WAR!

Loved this song back in the day. Holds up.

I only knew of Snuff through the Fat Wreck Chords sampler CDs but every time they had a song on one of those, they stood out. I never got around to checking out their other stuff though, for some reason.

@avclub-2d1a8576a32b4278fdaa86ddd9341276:disqus Hell yes for Supporting Caste. I love the old stuff, but their newer stuff is just flat-out amazing.

My introduction and gateway to NOFX was I Heard They Suck Live, which in retrospect is really strange.

It was only years later that I realised their version of Straight Edge was a cover and a great pisstake on the self-seriousness of punk at the time. Hilarious, really.

We are banished to the Dissolve forever.

Just a note to those who haven't seen this and want to: that trailer gives away a fair amount of the plot.

Shh! We dare not speak their names.

Didn't Shane Black say he wanted to put the alcoholism in Iron Man 3 but the producers nixed it?

Interestingly enough, Trent released the Fragile at a similar point in his life (Kanye's 36, Trent was 34 when the Fragile came out) and career to what Kanye's at now.

Exactly. The man is 48 years old. He can't be Mr. Self Destruct forever.

I would actually really like that, since NIN is basically my only reference (with a tiny bit of Ministry and Skinny Puppy on the side).
