Fantastic set pieces - Styrofoam Temple. It looked so cheesy. No comparison with the still amazing looking Pilot episode set of the wrecked airplane. And the cgi became totally embarrassing. Just watch that scene in the season 6 opener showing the island being underwater.

It still didn't clear up the biggest mystery of how the show got so terrible at the end.

That it even needs rescuing is telling.

This is what I'm talking about. Why should you feel bad for liking it just because someone calls it (god forbid!) jock rock? This whole mentality of "I'm so fucking enlightened I couldn't possibly enjoy artistically innovative/challenging music AND something fun that's enjoyed by idiots" is just kind of tiresome.
