What's the problem with Zach Braff financing the movie through his fans? Did he break into their houses and pick through their wallets?

"Those poor people."
To argue against an article title, I find the most fascinating thing about the McCartney, Lennon, Harrison, and Starr's post-career is that they NEVER could escape The Beatles' shadow. That's simply impossible because of what The Beatles accomplished. The fact that a majority of them continue to make great music is…
I'd say The West Wing is an aberration (as is its couple ripoffs) and nothing should be taken from it. Popular culture has been incredibly cynical about politics for over a century, just look at The Gilded Age by Mark Twain. If villainous politicians were not the protagonists of these works, it's just because villains…
I do think having Rankin/Bass adapting "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus" is one of most spiritually correct adaptations ever. Up there with Huston making The Maltese Falcon or the Coen Brothers adapting McCarthy.
Let's not pretend we're all impress by Jimmy Fallon. Great writing staff. Great band. Terrible, terrible, terrible delivery on all his jokes. The guy who couldn't deliver a joke on SNL has become the late night host who can't deliver a joke. He's the reverse-Dominos of comedians. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but…
The first Outrage taught me an innovative way of hanging a person.
Great movie, with a very unusual story structure.
NCIS might be my least favorite show ever.
I sometimes worry that the writers of the Rankin/Bass holiday specials were released back into the wild, unsupervised, ready to release their special form of insanity to an ill-prepared member of the public.
I would sell this as Martin Scorsese's first gross-out comedy which is probably why I'm not in movie advertisements. (Amazing movie, my favorite mainstream release of the year, including 12 Years a Slave)
When did Hollywood lose the technology to make a comprehensible action scene? I could vaguely tell interesting things, really cool things, were happening in the fight scenes but Jackson kept moving the camera so we never got to see anything. If you can't film something interesting straightforward, why even bother?
I have a hard time believing the Nerds franchise only lost creative energy because of changing societal view on geeks.
The only episode of American Idol I've ever seen is when they were covering Queen songs. It goes without saying that it was an incredibly frightening experience.
I dunno, I recognize him as Heath Ledger pretty easily. You could give me a hundred chances and I would never guess Gary Oldman for the picture up top. There's a difference between a great performance and an actor completely unrecognizable because of great makeup work.
You apparently never saw The Ladykillers.
Disney is basically making sure they own basically every property that's also a Disneyworld attraction completely.
When I saw the rating, I immediately thought Dowd.
Like the concept, like Harmon, like some of the jokes, like the parents. Would it kill them to give Morty a personality? Why is every nerdy high-school boy on television completely devoid of any character traits? Just give him an angle, for crying out loud.
Somewhat Spoilerish
The original Oldboy is the best troll movie of all time. You keep suggesting it to your friends, they look it up, read all the positive reviews, give it a chance… and will never forgive you for what just happen.
