This is what I'm saying! I listen to BG and I feel like I can do anything. I feel the power of the universe course through me. I suddenly find myself wearing a bear-skin loincloth astride the snow-capped peak of some craggy expanse, my hair whipping in the winds of a 100 year blizzard, clenching a bloody and ragged

No love for Power Metal here at the AV Club. I think Blind Guardian put out a hell of an album this year. It was, as usual, epic.

@Ricin,

Meh. Should have been a Randy Quaid gimmick poster.

Yeah, I'll take 1000 gerbils over HDB. When I was 16 I also confused boring, cliched attempts at being offensive for humor. So if you're a kid, I understand; but still, you should stop. If, on the other hand, you're an adult you're pretty much the worst thing.

Is a bear's asshole a funny hat?

Also that other people were at them.

I'm not afraid to say that I can occasionally find myself in a mood in which I find BEP enjoyably mindless. I also think they may be the only band can unequivocally, legitimately be called sell outs.

Pretty sure that was a fire axe. The same one he was using to try and break the widow.

X is for silly airheads who need to forced into joy and can't appreciate soul-rending horror. If acid is Ren and Stimpy, X is the Happy Helmet.

Well, "performed."

Agreed. They've pretty well culled all of the characters who have no distinguishable traits. At least the blond chick is 'the one whose sister died.'

It's pretty universally used. The danger is you'll arouse the ire of snoots. So it's generally safer to use "fewer" if you want to sound educated. But perhaps it's often better to use "less" if your intention is to sound unpretentious or conversational. A lot of it depends on your audience and tone.

I think, for a 1st season it did ok. I mean, it's better than season 1 of Parks and Rec. The potential's certainly there for a much better show. But even if it continues to be mediocre, I'll likely keep watching. Because I love zombies.

Are you implying you got fired…first?

One more time.

Watched Svenkmeyer's Alice (I'm not looking up how to spell it) with a head full of acid once. We went out for a walk after. It was about 3 in the morning and no one else was around, until a group of guys came walking toward us on the sidewalk all carrying croquet mallets.

Being from very near Corpus, I can tell you no one here talks like that. South Texas doesn't have much of an accent.

Also Jim Gaffigan.
