I think it's hilarious how no one knows how to spell Ketsia (another spelling that I know is incorrect).  I mean, honestly, how many valid options could there be?  Like 25 at least?

Letting Alaric stick around would seriously make me so happy.  Maybe I just miss his face, but more than that I think I miss the different energy he brought to the show.  The "I'm the wizened old guy" thing.  TVD has definitely not been the same without him.

I really thought that death was real, and it didn't even cross my mind (at the time) that she had possibly become a vampire.  But Carrie's right, they did cut away from that one way too quickly.

So basically, it will be like the third season of Veronica Mars?

OK, I actually didn't think that young Jess seemed younger, so that whole part with the younger guy came off as really creepy to me.  I mean, the rest of them were all with adult-aged people, even if they were made to seem younger.  But not Jess.

Oh my gosh this list.  Yes, thank you.

After re-reading some of my other comments, I just wanted to weigh in and agree.  While there are a few (pretty big) things that I think might be problematic going forward, I thought it was great overall.  I liked Klaus more than I usually do.  Love the prospect of seeing Daniel Gillies on a regular basis.  Thought

Look, there's no way for me not to sound terrible when I say this.  But pregnancy plots are one of the fastest ways to cause me to tire of a show.  Babies are fine and everything, but plots like that tend to over-saturate.  I can't help but think that the show will end up beating us over the head with "what's best for

That part smacked with sleaze to me.  Klaus can be a bad dude, or can try to be, but he usually keeps it a little classier than that.

OK, I'm glad I was not the only one to feel this way.  Granted, I was tired.  But I fell asleep in the middle of it, which isn't typically how i typically respond to his work.

I knew something was wrong when I went give my "A" and saw that even the commentariat was against this episode.  Now that I read the review, I see why.

Aw, I have a special place in my heart for F reviews for Heroes.  Heroes reviews were what first brought me to the AV Club, and I've been loving the snarky reviews for terrible shows ever since.

It makes total sense to me to want to take a week off from your job, even if it only takes an hour to do.  Sometimes it's just nice to know you won't have the responsibility for a while.

ELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIJAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Hey, glad to have you back!

I've been doing the same thing; hoping that somehow the sire bond would be dismissed.  Like, they'd show that Elena was actually stronger than that, and that what they'd been seeing was grounded in legitimate affection for Damon.  At if that was the case,

I honestly spent time wondering about this the other day.  Is Matt's mom still alive?  I don't remember.

I hope that next week she'll share some thoughts about this episode, as well.  Rowan, you're great!  But … we want Carrie.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the same thing could be said of Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Look, I could make a nice, long list of bands I'd rather see live than Mumford and Sons.  But after years of driving hundreds of miles for concerts, and after all the times I've glanced at a list of tour stops and thought, "nope, not within 500 miles," it's nice to see Guthrie, Oklahoma, on a list.  I'll be there,
