I kind of wished that the audience "knew" even one vampire from Kol's line.  I don't think it would have seemed so cheap if they'd at least taken a second to acknowledge the fact that other vampires were dying to service this plan.

Don't worry, guys, I've got this.

Sign me up, as well!  I never started in with this show last year, as it seemed like the broad stereotypes would be more frustrating than entertaining to watch.  However, I did notice when the show seemed to have much more positive reception toward the end of the first season.

I am not well-educated in these matters, but have two brothers who fall into the "frat boy" category.  Earlier this summer they had a "discussion" with my husband wherein they informed him that he was no longer supposed to wear cargo shorts.  Apparently we all stand corrected?

Frat boys are decidedly anti-cargo shorts.  Your frat guy in question definitely lost a bet and has been forced to wear an "embarrassing outfit."

I'm leaving to go back to school tomorrow, and I'm so giddy that I can hardly contain myself.  It helps that I absolutely loved college the first time around, and that I'm going back after a few years in the "real world."  The thing I have hated most about the real world?  The fact that it, for me, is apparently a

To be fair, only those who were not from the Midwest would go to an interior room and get away from windows.  Every self-respecting Midwesterner would be standing on the driveway (OK, out in the street) to try to see the funnel cloud.

Jay S and Dr. John, I can see what you're saying.  I guess I just never thought that they'd continue to like the show after all of the times Sorkin has used it to air his anti-gun and anti-Tea Party views.  Around here, people still love their Tea Party.   But it seems that can all be forgiven in the light of a

I find it ironic that this comment was placed right in the middle of a rant about Michelle Bachmann treating Christians like they're imbeciles (who will presumably believe anything).  I mean, sure, I'm on board with that assessment, but its merit is completely undermined by the extent to which the biblical history is

I've had a similar experience.  Moreover, a number of those Facebook friends are acquaintances I've made while married to the Army.  I've found it to be a really odd intersection of beliefs and tastes.  On one hand they'll rant about the damn liberals ruining our country, show up in droves at Chick-fil-a, and post
