Actually, some of the people who ran Leverage also worked on that Global Frequency pilot. One of the creators said that, unofficially, Eliot is a member of the Global Frequency in his spare time.

It's actually a pretty amazing game. It plays a little differently than a lot of tabletop games because there's a bit more improvisation involved, but it's a wonderful game backed by a clever system.

I agree with you about the show having 'gone off the boil,' there. This past season has been doing a lot of obvious 'upping the stakes to buy us more time with the network' stunts, sort of the plot equivalent of a sitcom about to die bringing in big-name guest stars every week.

That's an understandable reaction. I think that episode was a late attempt to cash in on Inception (given they were supposed to be screwing around in the guy's dreams).

I suspect it's also the fact that Robin Hood is just a much bigger deal over there than he is over here. It's not something people talk about much, but people in England tend to take the character more seriously (which could add more impact to a parody).

And of course, Steven Weber (who played Harker) had no clue there would be that much blood. It takes everything he has to keep from cracking up, you can see it.

I always heard a rumor somewhere that half the idea of the 'History of the World: Part II' preview was so he'd always have something he could claim to be working on if he wasn't working on anything else.

Hell, tropes nothin'. If I recall, they scrounged up original *props* from the Karloff Frankenstein film.

Manchin's a crook and a shithead. I know this from personal experience.

I live in West Virginia and I actually don't care about this show one way or another, and I wouldn't piss on Joe Manchin if he were on fire. But I really agree with this comment. O'Neal needs to go write for Cracked where he belongs.
