I Will Live With That

I was *this close* to setting my couch on fire…

I think either show-Stannis knows (he does say a common barmaid wasn't Ned Stark's style) or Benjen (who gets found at Hardhome?).

The real question is: who is going to get greyscale? (Jorah?)

Thanks Ovaughna!

Thing is: I care about the characters, not so much the actors. If they are neither playing nor talking about those characters (a la Seth Meyers) then this is in no way a reunion.

Silent night!

This is an ad right?

I got a Community notification for this?!

Lena Headey really nailed the "TAKE HIM!" lines.

My favorite camera work thingy in this episode was the pan that reveals more and more of super super depressed Sansa.

I'm surprised by how unruly the audience is. Someone asks him a question in the Slick/Crosby/Stills video and he gets a couple of boos asking George if the Beatles had hooked a bunch of kids on drugs.

"Sorry, when I get excited my teeth come out."

So obviously an article about the Beatles needs a nitpick:

Of Craig Ferguson's approach: "an approach that can grow a bit tiring"… how dare you, sir!

I was kind of boggled by this gag. It's odd they would introduce it upfront only for the payoff of it translating him after Abed fake dies. I guess it cut some of the drama before the break but any non-callback joke could have worked too. Maybe there's some symbolism I'm missing…

Problems with the clip show format aside, I think it's amazing that with one episode the writers could make me wish the Mother had been around the whole time as much as Ted.

I thought it was refreshing to hear Abed say it that the floor is really lava to him and that he wished it wasn't. I feel like they spend a lot of time experiencing Abed's eccentricities but we rarely hear his side.

Ahem… Freebird actually has a guitar duet…

"b) Winston actually figured pretty prominently in the A-story."
