Maybe a better word would have been "disgustingly," but then I would have lost the alliteration and wouldn't have gotten as much joy and cheer from a small internet comment.
NOT King Rat. That was the first one I read of his, since it was his first book, and, no.
Sounds like it's the "Enlightened" of the DCU.
Reminds me of a tweet I saw, which went something along the lines of:
I've been waiting to read this series, but learned about it too far into the run that my comic store didn't have the original issues and I didn't feel like paying that much on Comixology for it. I'd say Wonder Woman is better actually. If for nothing else that it's telling one slowly unraveling huge story. And it had the line, "I was going to ask you how mortal life was treating you, Mother, but the lines around your eyes speak for themselves."
Morrison has been building up to this since 2006, you know? And all the payoffs that have been going on through his Batman Incorporated book have been so so great.
I wish the AV Club would do their comics talk weekly instead of bi-weekly.
