You want to talk more about "lead to nothing"? Because I thought the payoff of Death of the Family was pretty great.

I think Comixology has the the first two or three issues free to download right now. I got them a while ago but haven't read them yet. Seemed like fun though?
YES!
I just want to agree:
I was actually super disappointed in SECRET AVENGERS No. 1. I didn't think Spencer caught Hawkeye's voice very well at all. The art didn't do it for me, with everyone's muscles so bulging it looked like a harlequin romance. The retracted and narrative device felt like it was trying to be too cool. And I just thought…
I loved this book.
It's Wonder Woman and Batman for me.
I don't know about Action. But Batman Incorporated is winding down here as well. Considering it's the end of a what . . . ten year run? I hope it gets some attention here.
I don't think Oliver Sava is much of a DC fan, since regardless of the great things they do put out (WONDER WOMAN), he ignores them in favor of some lesser Marvel title.
The Batman issues where Francesco Francavilla did the art for the backups was like a massive feat of spoiling for us readers. Actually, the same could be said of Jock too.
My favorite issues from this week:
" Johns and Kreisberg set out to justify why readers should buy a series starring one of DC’s most infamous D-listers. The plot is rushed in order to ensure Francisco Ramon is a member of the JLA by the end of this first issue, and his character suffers as a result. "
Isn't this similar to Aquaman?
One of the things I learned in my admittedly short time reading comics:
I never read it as part of the curriculum, but I did read it independently and liked it well enough then. Okay, so it wasn't really independently because apparently it's a "part of [my] cultural heritage" and my mother kept throwing a copy at me.
I saw the trailer for this, and I don't know how many times the voice over narrator mentioned that Anaya's book was controversial.
At least Sava didn't chose Secret Avengers. That was a messy, lackluster start. And I like Nick Spencer.
I disagree with some of you, because I think it was the Big Issue of the week.
I dunno. His Foghorn Leghorn impersonation here is borderline divine.
"'Gay kids need sex education more than straight ones,' Joseph tells his dad. While your son might have had sex education in school, even the best sex-ed classes focus on male-female. 'There’s less reliable information about gay sex than there is about straight sex,' Joseph says, so gay kids turn to the Internet—or to…
Can we take a moment to talk about how great Wright's "Looming Tower" is? I mean, the guy is just a solid, old-school, get your hands dirty reporter and it's magnificent.
