Yeah, the trouble with print media is that they have to sell copy and the best way to do that maybe is to have someone famous on your cover.  If you need ppl to do covers for you, then you can't burn bridges.  And if you can't burn bridges, you can't tell it how it is.

"Anyway, she feels that her best performances were of songs she selected herself, as in the blind audition, and Your Song last night."

thanks.  lol and i have no good answer for you with regards to "because."

Enjoyed the article and the articles on this site that have touched on this topic before.  When shows really utilize the freedom of long-form narrative, it's fucking great.  Some of the best stuff I've watched in the last 7-8 yrs has been TV becuz of how they embrace the novel-like possibilities allowed by

The coaches, and I'd say Adam and CeeLo in particular, help differentiate this show from the rest of the field.  I agree with what you say about Adam completely.  I thought he was going to be a douchey guy coming in but his earnestness won me over.  I don't think I'll start listening to Maroon 5 or anything but he's

I thought she was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever!

This is my first season watching this show.  It has its problems but I do find it entertaining.  And a part of that are the judges and their interactions between themselves and with the competitors.  For example, I really dug Cee-Lo tearing up a couple of times in the last (or second-to-last?) battle round episodes

Agree with pretty much everything you said.  And I really found myself liking more of the Team Ceelo performances tonight, which I wouldn't have thought going in.  Post-audition, I thought Adam had the better team.

What performance?  I think pretty much any one of us could have done what she did.

I really dug Pip's blind audition as well but I don't think he's really impressed me since.  And I found myself agreeing with the judge's critiques tonight regarding him.  And, yeah, "Mr. Brightside" would have been a better selection for him.

Whether Ginsburg stands or falls is intrisically tied to Peggy.  She hired him under Don and Roger's authority but had her doubts.  Roger tried to alleviate these doubts by putting his heft behind the hiring but, as Don later pointed out, Roger doesn't seem to be part of the equation ("he doesn't even show up to the

Echoing the comments about what a great scene it was.  I'd love to see Peggy shake someone new down every episode, as she makes her way to the top.  I really am enjoying how much power her and Pete wield these days, particularly at the expense of Roger.

I can't imagine the show finishing up without Joan being more settled down, or at least providing a hint in that direction, with someone in a relationship that shows promise.

Joan's super competent, as the show has made clear.  I don't think her days there are numbered.  And as far as age is concerned, remember Mrs. Blankenship?

Yep, I just watched it for the first time last summer and it rates in my top 5.  It is just so well done.  What was I watching at the time when it was airing???  Probably, like, Friends or something.  Everytime I play that game where i ask myself that question or one like it, I always come out behind.

I live by my own rules!

It's like Fight Club!

If you write it, I shall read it!

Haha, actually I used to confuse her with Allison Brie.

Oh.  …..  I just realized that I've been thinking that Amy Ryan and Amy Adams were the same person for a few yrs now.
