Do not pass GO.  Do not collect $200.

Amazing.

So much good stuff, so hard to choose but I'll go with his last verse in ATLiens: … God works in mysterious ways so when starts the job of speaking through us we be so sincere with this ear (?) no drugs and alcohol so I can get the signal clear as day put my glock away I got a stronger weapon that never runs out of

I don't know what you're talking about, that last track on The Love Below is amazing.

I thought the same thing.  I was like, why are they even bothering with a Quickfire?  And then, wait, no one got eliminated by it?

Tom's always had these quirks tho it seemed like there were more of these moments this season than others?  Granted I'm not in the biz, but as someone merely watching at home, it gets old pretty quick just b'cuz of how arbitrary it can seem sometimes.  I had trouble parsing which flaw in each of the fire/ice dishes

Would be cool if Gary Oldman won (won't happen) or if TTSS got Best Adapted S/P (here's hoping).  That is all.

The terrible world made no sense.  And then suddenly it did.
"It's Chinatown," I said to no one in particular.  Shrugging off the weight, I walked away.

I found it underwhelming and am admittedly somewhat puzzled about the love that it's received these last several months.  A friend of my family's is a writer and he also really dug this movie.  And now The Writers Guild has honored it as well.  There must be something about the conceit that I am just not seeing.  It's

Agree.  For whatever reason, the mainstream really loves this show in a big way.  After really resenting it during S1, I've lowered my expectations and am enjoying it more for what it is and trying not to think about what it could be.

I'd like some character-driven plots.  But asking that of this show is like trying to order a steak at McDonald's: I'm not loving it.

@Scrawler2:disqus Daryl's bro, I think???

Shane fixing up a batch of mojitos for everyone to enjoy on a sunny day out on Hershel's porch.  Shane knitting Rick a sweater by the fireside to make up for his transgressions with Lori.  This could be really good.

I like to think of Dale's regression as a consequence of his status as a non-land owner in this post-apocalyptic world they live in.  Without a lawn of his own, he can't yell at kids to stay off his lawn thereby making him a poor excuse of an old man.  To that end, his RV is a visual signal of not only his transient

Go watch the sleepquel.

Yeah, I remember reading that about "NY State of Mind."  Amazing song, indeed.

Good call!

Generally agree.  Aside from the mentioned Method Man skit from Enter the 36 Chambers, hardly any of them are memorable in a good way not to mention even essential.  I don't know if these are skits but they come to mind as instances where they seem to work:

Great article.  I have actually only watched the mini-series and first season.  I saw them during a 6 month span where I also watched, like, the first four seasons of Friday Night Lights and the first 3 seasons of Mad Men.  To be clear, I enjoyed the little BSG that I did watch but my appreciation/enjoyment didn't

I enjoy Top Chef.  It's reality tv.  It's on Bravo.  I know I'm not alone in enjoying that show among the commentors on this site.  I think your statement is overbroad.  Jus' saying.
