yeah, there's good vietnamese food here for sure. lots of everything actually: good vietnamese, thai, chinese, japanese, indo/pak …. it's all pretty good. we have a pretty discerning eating population, i'd say. like i said above somewhere, it's a really underrated food city.

Thanks. That's really interesting, I wouldn't have thought it would be something like that. And yeah, Houston seems to be doing fine in and of itself regarding the ability to pull conventions and events and all-star games and so forth. Maybe they don't need to pay Bravo for it's misguided depiction, as you say.
