I love the fact that Mad Men's Pete Campbell has a college buddy named Ho Ho.

Yeah. Not just how young he was but also how he employed a quiet/loud dynamic in his performances. He doesn't really even have THAT MUCH dialog in the first Godfather movie or Dog Day Afternoon. Alot of his expressiveness is conveyed through glances and the like.
Yeah, great moment. Like I posted above somewhere, her story along w/ Tate's really made this episode congeal for me. I think it's the best of the season for me, even w/ the lack of Rubber Man.
Thinking about Late Pacino makes me so sad, especially every time I watch the first two Godfather movies.
Don't think I'm going to like it. Seems gimmicky. Devalues the normal elimination round somewhat, right? We'll see. I generally like the show and it keeps me entertained each season, so I'm hoping it'll prove me wrong.
That sounds awesome.
Yeah, really liked that observation made by the e-mailer. I saw the original for the first time just recently and I remember it the way it was described in the e-mail.

She has some nice legs.
Yeah, I hear ya. But I honestly don't think Padma is a huge improvement. And I say that as a brown dude even.
"I love Conan. I've watched him since I was very young, and I like to
think he helped skew my comedic tastes towards to the absurd and the
silly."
I hear the "lazy" thing from ppl who don't like Conan or his show fairly regularly. And I don't really get it. How is his show any more lazy than anyone else's late night talk show? Are you referring to the bits where Conan breaks routine and makes an aside to the audience about how bad the writing is or how bad…
i want to marry your comment.
i actually didn't know how to read the bit with jack macbrayer. i know they are friendly but it came off as rather mean-spirited, the way it was edited. like a man kicking a puppy.
@avclub-b9abc54b685d47db67da47a4007fdb12:disqus i feel the same way. he is not entirely without his charms but i can't watch ferguson for more than 20 mins tops. he reminds me of my uncle, who tries desperately to be cool and funny and only succeeds like a third of the time. and over the course of 15-20 mins, it…
All of you who commented pretty much nailed it. I finally got around to seeing it. It's reasonably well-acted and conceived but there's nothing special about it. Great cast aside, it's not very memorable. As Noel suggests, it lacks that pop.
Rabin's right tho, the 3D is used to good effect here.
Saw it tonight - it's a fun time.
If you haven't seen TC before and are intrigued, consider checking out the first season. Alot of the seasons are good and worth watching if you're into this sort of thing but the first season had a great set of characters who weren't as aware of the camera and didn't have prior seasons of the show to frame their…
It should trend more and more towards focus on food as more chefs get eliminated.
