Beans. Refried.
The facial hair on this season seems top notch. I don't know what you're complaining about.
Wow. I never saw Just Deserts so this is the first I'm seeing this. It's like the best and worst of reality TV all mixed in one moment. When I was in elementary school I had a very public meltdown like this in a school assembly. And, while that wasn't on TV and not on the web like this clip is, I can relate to how…
Despite watching and rewatching the show many times over, I don't think I've ever skipped past the opening credits.
I love the FNL theme. Despite watching and rewatching that show rather obsessively first by myself and later with my roommate, I don't know that I've ever skipped past it. I'm surprised that this is the first mention of it.
Though I frequently gripe about The Walking Dead and American Horror Story, I enjoy the opening credits to both of them quite a bit.
Thanks for sharing. And I see what you mean :( I've never had that happen to me with a celebrity hero (I've actually not met any/many of my heroes). But I did have older cousins and uncles and stuff that I looked up to growing up. Then, when I finally grew up and saw the world through different eyes, I realized…
I think I can see where you are coming from. "Neatly choreographed" is probably an apt descriptor for that book and for her style at large. There's also like an emotional distance to her writing. You are never completely in the character's shoes but instead you are (sympathetically?) watching the situations unfold…
Go back and watch the first season if you can find it somewhere. Some of the seasons are hit or miss but the first season had a really interesting mix of characters.
Thanks for sharing. I'm actually Bengali and alot of the angsty issues of her characters speak pretty directly to me and my experience, my childhood, etc. Particularly, details about Gogol's childhood in The Namesake. I'm sure that sounds absolutely stupid but it's true. Having two names and the weird confusion…
What did you dislike about the book?
Tell me more. Seriously. Too serious?
Drive.
(D) All of the above.
The show really blows. I watched a few episodes here and there during the first season and enjoyed them (cuz I'm a sucker for ghost stories and stuff). But the novelty wore off fast and now an episode of said show would bore me to tears. I'd rather rewatch Paranormal Activity or something.
Agree with your 5th paragraph. AMC is ok with it being a less sophisticated/accomplished show becuz the bottom line for them is ratings and TWD is getting them. Becuz of the promise of zombie-violence, it doesn't have to be airtight the way those other shows are. People are going to watch regardless.
I think I agree with you as far as understanding why Lori would think that way. I remember thinking some of the same things last year when I had to have our dog put down. It's not a pleasant bit of headspace.
Apparently, his character is busy slurping down Smoothie Kings whenever offscreen.
Same.
Zack's right about one thing: no way Shane should be that swoll still. With their high level of activity and, I'm assuming, meager diet, he shouldn't look like the type of man who eats steak and eggs at every meal in between two-a-day workouts or whatever. I'm assuming they've been in this hellish situation for at…
