I would love to read The Case of the Puma's Dick or even the one with the evil magikist.

Only if the title figure is terribly miscast with a basset hound.

You read my mind completely.  The story becoming more concrete is a problem for me as well, making this 3rd movie less effective.  I don't regret seeing it and I don't think they dropped the ball or anything.  But they are going to have to do something really interesting to continue the franchise.  Maybe involve a

I think the second movie works as well as the first movie.  If you liked the first movie, watch the second movie.  I don't think the BW2 comparison is apt.

Did you find the story/explanation satisfying?  It kinda broke down a bit for me in how it ties in with the first two movies.  The sisters, shown as children in the 3 but as adults in 1 and 2, don't ever talk mention (in 1 and 2) their mother being killed or their step-fatherish guy being killed.  For plausibility's

I'm finding myself thinking the opposite.  I liked the first two quite a bit.  And enjoyed Catfish.  With all of those projects, I like that the fx were at a minimum and there's at least the plausible belief that, hey, this could happen to you becuz that house looks like your house and ….

SPOILER

She's gotta die soon, right?  I mean, every episode seems to have a freak-out moment where she almost dies: "AAAAAH I'm dying!!!!"  Then, like immediately after that, she gets all sorts of moody when ppl express their concern for her: "Oh no you didn't!"  I mean, how many more times are they going to run that same

I've been disappointed so far but I'll keep watching.  One thing that's intrigued me a little is EW's cover story treatment of the show in its recent issue.  There's some spoilerish speculations in there that I find interesting.

He's been shown to be in cahoots with the maid and the neighbor - at least one of which is a ghost, right?  So by the associative property of ghosts, he too is a ghost.  Or something.

The milk's gone bad!

How about a play-along-at-home game where you rub one out anytime someone cries on the show?

indeed.  in a cosmic sense, i am but a momentary fleck of dust.

old is gold, bro.

de Mornay was the best thing about the '93 flick.  god help me, i was like 13 at the time.

HAHA.  I can EASILY see that.

You didn't enjoy the tension as they finally made it to the family's town and approached the house?  Or are you just too cool for school?

I'll be honest - I think she's a fine actress but it's just something about the type of roles she keeps getting.  It's quite possible that I harbor something a mild dislike of her as well for the somewhat irrational reason of equating her with the reprehensible characters she often plays.  Maybe it's cuz I first

That is exactly the point.  FWIW, I think Eisenberg is really talented.

Julie Roberts.
