Todd, the lesson from Riddley Walker is to befriend all dogs.

Michael Moore?
Why's Michael Moore slumming it here with C-listers Ryan and Koski? And thanks for the typical self-righteous left-wing misreading of that song.

One Fast Move or I'm Gone
is a brilliant album. Farrar wrote most of the tunes. Gibbard sings half of them. Am I the only one who loves it?

I enjoyed both the Slott .1 set up and Remender's first issue. Actually, Remender's issue is one of the best choreographed action comics I've ever read. It left me breathless.

Well, the latest issue of TWD changes that formula pretty radically, though I wonder if I'll be able to care about the comic after the recent event.

Jesus Christ, what's with this C-list cast?

They prefer to be called little people.

Hey dumbfucks, a minotuar is half man. The dick half.

Muswell Hillbillies is brilliant start to finish. So's Lola. So's Arthur. Village Green is probably my fourth or fifth favorite Kink's album.

This is a brilliant discussion
I'm not around a computer enough to read the avclub much in the summer, so I missed this, but it's one of the best things I've read on this site. Thanks recycle-o-matic!

Rebecca Black tour starts next month. David Brent also appearing.

The fight clips in this video make limitless look like Taskmaster, the Movie. Call Marvel's lawyers!

Un-belayed rock climbing is not a thing. Free solo climbing is. It's also called lunacy.

Fuck anyone who refers to their drug expeiences as "working with" or who refers to their dealer as a "maestro" who she "studies with." That's some grade A bullshit right there. I'm all for her tripping her balls off, but just call it what it is. How can you even stand to be around her when she talks like that?

I think Noe would be thrilled by the polarized comments here (if I were a filmmaker, I would be anyway). Proves he hit the sweet spot he was aiming for. I find myself agreeing with almost all of the criticisms and praise. That's exactly what I'm looking for from art.

So An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge?

Bring back the grades. Sometimes there'll be something I'm not at all interested in, but seeing an A or B+ grade can convince me to give it a try (or at least read the review).

I've followed this feature from Geek Love on and have loved it and hope for a quick return. I read a few books a month and some I enjoy more than the WUiB books, but I always remember and get more out of the WUiB books because of the discussions. I will greatly miss discussing interezsting books with really smart,

Loved it
I missed the discussion, but I'll join the chorus of none (maybe Todd, but even he seems to be hedging here) in stating that I loved this book. Sure it was flawed and shaggy, but that didn't stop me from loving it. My favorite book of all time, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, is flawed and shaggy as

Worked for me.
