I believe she also sang the lullaby theme to Rosemary's Baby. And she's terrific in that.

I enjoyed the historical details, but it's true that the blending of fact and fiction will likely affect people like me who have nearly no knowledge or interest in history. I'm fully aware that Gold made alot of this stuff up, but I'm sure my brain will remember much of it as fact.

So Rowan
Any luck in that Cemetary yet?

I was enthralled and horrified by the brank scene and it's when I first really became hooked, so no, not taken out of the book at all, possibly because it was so well rendered on the page.

I also was unimpressed by Carter's celibacy. Sure, not at a whore house, but why not elsewhere? A weird bit of characterization that I didn't know what to make of.

I'm going to disagree with Tasha and say that no, it's not easy to just describe impossible things happening and that Gold's not getting enough credit here. As any magician will likely tell you, the trick itself doesn't matter. How you discover someone's card doesn't even matter. How you reveal the card is all that

As long as they also remake the porno version, "Thunderclits", then I'm ok with it.

Ya-weh, smell ya later!

I'm majorly bummed that this is going away. I guess I'll have to join the women's book club at my work. I've participated with them a few times, but even the few half way decent books they've read are kind of girly.

Coming from the Royal Air Force, that's a lot of spunk.

Hey everybody, it's mad, the guy who got Leonard Pierce fired. Mind your ps and qs, Murray, he might come after you next.

Hogan, Sheen, and Elegant Victorian Lady are obviously the same poster.

Give me the idol and I'll give you the whip!

That which we call a pool-rape by a Deep One by any other name would smell as sweet.

Echo is fantastic comics. Get the trades, people.

I finally saw Element of Crime and wow is it an unwatchable piece of shit.

Maybe they can get Mila Kunis in this thing, too. She'd look something like this:

Kostner plays an agent who falls for and starts a relationship with Eve Teschmacher. Little does he know that she's also romantically involved with Lex Luthor! Lex has been trying to discredit Superman, accusing him of being a harbinger of alien invasion. Discovering the affair, Luthor kills Teschmacher, covers it

Doomed planet…
Desperate scientist…
Last hope…
Kindly couple.

I would absolutely include Dogtooth in the genre of torture porn.
