I don't watch the show, but is there really all that much left to hate about it? If I were naively flipping through the channels and saw Jon Cryer and Amber Tamblyn in a sitcom, I'm not going to be repelled by that. I do think it's hilarious how the show has undergone multiple (awkward) retooling phases and not looked

That question invites too much trolling.

I'm a software developer for financial retirement planners.

"Ask" is my favorite Smiths song. Nice job.

If there's a meetup, let's do Cambridge instead, please. I prefer to go into the city for work and therapy only.

Blondie "Hanging on the Telephone"
Joe Jackson "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"
Band of Horses "The Great Salt Lake"
Fleet Foxes "Grown Ocean"
The Divine Comedy "The Happy Goth"

There's no way to tell beforehand how much time I'll have left, so I've queued up "Pomp & Circumstance" to cover my bases.

I kept waiting for an explanation, so I made up my own: the death of her sisters halted her rapid aging because their proximity to one another's concentrated fairy energy was what drove the process.

I'm optimistic that the opportunities for lucrative sponsorship of another sequel will dry up in the face of the lousy box office numbers for Smurfs 2. Those companies are paying for eyeballs on the screen, being subliminally exposed to their products, and if the eyeballs aren't there, neither is the advertising

Virtuality could've been great. Every episode would've been like those Star Trek holodeck episodes, but with the focus on the darker sides of escapism - and its essential value.

I don't think anyone can deny that a large segment of the AVC viewership has a hate-watch relationship with this show, but you can't further generalize them as people who "feed their souls with hate" and "make the world an unhappy place".

Why bother with the actor?

Jackson Scott "Melbourne"
Besnard Lakes "Until in Excess, Imperceptible UFO"
Toro Y Moi "Anything in Return"

The War on Drugs "Come to the City"
Sunset Rubdown "Jason Believe Me, You Can't Trust Your Dreams"
The Rolling Stones "Paint it Black"
The Divine Comedy "Come Home Billy Bird"
Gang of Four "Paralysed"

It's not so bad. I actually get a warm feeling in my belly knowing that 30 Rock (along with its four leads) was able to leave such positive comedic legacy by the time it ended.

That's the aspect of "Everybody Hurts" that bugs me the most: how boring the plinky guitar part is. Whenever I try to give the song another chance, it's lost me even before the vocals kick in.

Ignoreland is a highlight.

It's truly a special few who are beloved by a majority of New Jersey.
