Opinion retracted.

For a full minute, I thought you were talking about a dead rodent that you'd been watching decompose in your garden.

I just read a report that Bud Selig is going to drop the steroid ban hammer down on like 20 players after the all-star break, including Ryan Bran and Alex Rodriguez. How do you get caught doing that stuff twice?

I took Chris Davis in round 12 of my fantasy baseball draft this spring. Wooooo! When he goes more than two days without hitting a home run I get pretty annoyed.

It actually said the "clean guitars" of Liz Phair are an influence. And Liz Phair is a fine influence, anyhow.

I think we're meant to accept that Bill has a soft spot for Jessica and was being sincere earlier in the season when he told her that he wanted her around to keep him in check during his difficult transition into the devil incarnate.

I'm still surprised at how fast they rose into the national indie scene. Surreal is a good word for it. On the other hand, Dupuis has been doing this for a while and Speedy Ortiz is a notch above her previous bands, so why shouldn't they deserve the recognition? They were pretty locked in at their record release show

The only reason they exist is because they visibly agitate people - to a degree that amuses me. If y'all hadn't given undue attention to the first cookie_monster imitator, none of the others would've appeared. They're innocuous, so why bother getting worked up about them anyways.

I just looked this up on urban dictionary, and it sounds great! Why aren't we all just cruising around doing this?

The song was never really applicable to your situation because you had a car.

The tiny imprisoned Foos forced to spin end over end until they vomit were the highlight for me.

It remains to be seen whether Sally and the other Draper kids learned anything real with the house visit. Is it obvious from the outside that it was once a whorehouse? I can't imagine Don getting into his whole back-story around the kids without poor Bobby's head exploding.

It's a reference to how the Superman franchise has been rebooted for the last two films in a row, but the one prior was almost 7 years ago, come to think of it.

"Casting by Allison Jones": I've seen this in the credits of countless recent sitcom episodes and wondered how she came to be so ubiquitous. I've started to believe she's the secret glue holding together the realm of television comedy, like Varus on "Game of Thrones".

Within the context of the fictional movie, it's real destruction, yet it's arbitrarily ignored within the plot because its only purpose is visual spectacle. When the dramatic stakes aren't governed by the rules the film itself establishes, it undermines the audience's suspension of disbelief.

Betty had a look of concern on her face after Sally said her father hadn't given her anything. She probably still holds some resentment towards her ex-husband but is motherly enough to be worried about the abruptness of Sally's disillusionment. Betty would be wise to not feed into it.

Whenever I'm riding the bus with an empty seat next to me and another passenger comes up to ask if anyone's sitting there, I tell them "No one but… my cute baby."

It's pretty reductive to say that the next 20 years of Jenna's life are mapped out via this one decision.
