SpOILERS       Well, this particular changeling is extremely dedicated to his mission, (it is a suicide mission after all).  As far as the other stuff, i.e., the changeling baby, maybe at this point the Founders had realized they were infected with the morphogenic virus and the stakes had been raised significantly.

Yes, they got their start at the Gilman scene.

Do you work for Livenation?

Miller   Yes,  yes it is.   Fuck you you statist hippie.

Scrappy     That shit comes from cops getting trolled.

That Makes some sense.   Especially if "Benny" was losing faith in the psych ward at this point.

Really?  What's the draw?  Is it remastered or something?

But see this is one of the reasons this comment board is entertaining.  Cause if stuff like that bothers you, can always just make up your own explanation.     Like, ok:   Benzar had only joined the federation recently.  So that guy was the first Benzite in Starfleet.  BUT, the benzite space service military was in

Tried it.  It sounds cool in theory, but t gets boring pretty quick.

It just occurred to me, this could actually become a real issue within my lifetime.  Like a new form of human trafficking.

I thought it was that the Romulans could possibly intercept the communication, and he had to "cath them in the act".

@Eli   You know, that movie would have made alot more sense and had more dramatic weight if the Enterprise was under orders to keep the Son'a happy to prevent them from allying with the Dominion    (which they do after Insurrection, and happen to have the plant necessary to make ketracel white, ds9's nod to/making fun

Haha.  I think I've brought this up before, but does anybody remember this star trek board game from the 90s that came with a VHS tape that was Gowron telling you to do things?

@Wintermute     Right, but presumably starfleet as alot more members then the crew of deep space nine.

Spiralscratch  I guess it's pretty silly to bring physics into star trek, especially when were dealing with semi-magical quantum shapeshifters, but for me, somehow thinking that a changeling in liquid form could survive in hard vacuum …..

Actually, as I;m typing this, I realize this is too silly an argument even for

And I just realized, a nod to Star trek 6.

A google search reveals that for a one appearance character, she inspired a bit of slash fic.

Which you could write off as the "exploring" being more of a "mapping enemy territory" thing.

Makes more sense if:   The real reason for the colony was to establish a starfleet presence in the Gamma Quadrant.   And they sent a shuttle because that's less aggressive then sending a fleet, which would probably be interpreted as an act of war.
