I think Ancient Melodies just has a few too many lyrics that are advicey.

TV Taste
I like that the only two TV options are Frontline or AFV. When mixed, they really cover all your info-tainment needs.

Why does everyone like the State Fair one or the cruise ship one. Many of the essays in A Supposedly Fun Thing just have a tone of snobbery and just dis-like of fun that turns me off (though it's nice that he didn't like EVERYTHING like say, Chuck Klosterman). I really prefer his essays in Consider the Lobster, in
