When did we start talking about Amber?

This reminds me of a joke:

Deux petite morts:

So what happened to the 3D printed version of Fry?  Wouldn't surprise me if that came up in an episode later this season.

I don't care if naming the baby Joffrey had anything to do with Game of Thrones or not, I still cackled every time someone said the kid's name.

Actually, I've read the first of the Merlin books, and I just had some trouble motivating myself to finish so I thought I'd read something else before diving back in.

The Black Company series is one of my favorite fantasy series of all time, I was just thinking of doing a re-read of them myself.

I gave up around book 8 or 9.  I probably won't finish the series either, because I'd practically have to reread all the books, and I just can't face those boring middle books again.

I'm currently in the middle of reading Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber.  I've taken a break from it to read Charles Stross' Glasshouse (finished it today, great book, full of some amazing concepts), and I just received The Ocean At the End of the Lane in the mail, so I'll probably read that before I finish the

sphinx!

No love for "Use your parkour!"?  That line killed me.

Scarlett Johannson

Well, I've bought all the DVDs so I'm doing my part.

Wait, the episodes go live at midnight?  Well it's been a while since I pulled an all-nighter, but what the heck, it's not like I need to get up early or anything.

There's probably a law that she can't wear anything less than those early 20th century swimsuits that cover you from neck to ankle, to prevent riots and accidental drownings.

That is just classic @avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus

There are stiff penalties if they violate that rule.

Here's my quote to summarize my reaction to this article:

Yeah, another vote for Spirited Away.  Princess Mononoke is pretty good, too, but Spirited Away is on a totally different level.

I know just enough about Grave of the Fireflies to know that I will never watch it.
