I wanted to go see that show so badly but had spent my summer job money going to see the Rolling Stones.

I saw Primus open for Living Colour but it does not fit the category since I really enjoyed both bands. Primus sucks though.

I saw the Rollins Band open for X a few years ago and I enjoyed them. My best combo though was the very first time I saw X back on the sunset strip before their first album came out and the Go-Go's were the opener.
