If the founding fathers really were all that the libertarians and tea partiers think they were, how did we end up with a constitution that permitted slavery and considered black people 3/5 of a human being?

Alicia mentioned that she's in all but two episodes and she's been filming quite a bit lately. She will definitely be coming to Harlan County, and I expect it to be next week.

I'm biased because I got the chance to play music with Alicia Witt and she's amazingly sweet and nice in person. I like that the character of Wendy is a smart (by Crowe standards) character who did a nice job of handling the Cuban rather than becoming a damsel in distress.

He had all the incentive in the world to get out of there and escape. Maybe he would have been fully cooperative, but maybe he would have used the gun on Raylan at some point too. Raylan made the right call there I think.

I thought she said he fired "his shot', but that's just going by memory.

You are not wrong.

I'm waiting for the return of Wendy Crowe. She should be most or all of the rest of the episodes this season.

They animated the same stretch of South Beach where "Dexter" often filmed. I even recognized my favorite landmark, the Colony Hotel, by the shape of the sign (none of the signs had writing on them)

except to deliver that particular joke, you do.

Mac Davis?

Raylan didn't think he was facing certain death. He said he knew he could kill 4 of them before they could get off a shot and "he'd take his chances" with the other two. He was ready to take on those odds.

He also had his own variety show back in the 1970's.

And/or a lot of cocaine.

Or she's saying it's going to be alright for her. She does not have to be taken from behind by the creepy old guy and she gets all his money.

It is possible, but Wendy is going to Kentucky this season.

DOH. I think I have to suppress all memories of her being in "Dune" and "Mr Holland's Opus" so I don't feel like some kind of pedophile. Plus it reminds me how old I am, since I was in college when "Dune" came out. She's done a remarkable job of staying a nice and balanced person for someone who got started in

I'm pretty sure everybody assumed that, given the context. That was a good way of showing what a sorry-ass criminal enterprise the Crowe family is.

The bucket was on a pulley, it went up.

Actually she was wearing all black in this episode wasn't she?

You will. She has mentioned that she is in most of the episodes this season (which is a very good thing IMO).
