Life imitates art?

I saw her a bunch of years at a concert put together by one of the big NPR stations in SoCal.    She was fine but not really outstanding in any way.   Lucinda Williams was on the same bill and way outclassed her.   Beck was the headliner and that funky little scientologist is always entertaining.  The Polyphonic Spree

So did ya see that memo about the TPS reports?  I'll just send you another copy of that memo.

I was a senior in high school the year Cameron Crowe went back to school and wrote "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and though many of the situations are obviously exaggerated, he got the feel exactly right

As a dad who went through a nasty divorce I can totally see where you are coming from there.

When Peter Gabriel toured on his second album he played at a club called the Golden Bear, on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, CA.    He finished the show with "I Go Swimming".   As the band kept playing he said "Let's go!" and jumped off the stage and went through the crowd to the front door.   He lead the

I actually don't listen to Pink Floyd that much any more.   But when I do it still hits me like it did when I was in high school.    So maybe it is best not to go to that well too often.

Just watched, and made "Mad Max" jokes because it was in a giant dome.

As a Manchester United fan I was absolutely delighted by that Everton vs Manchester City game.

He has a show on one of the big SoCal NPR stations, KCRW, every Saturday night.   It's quite interesting most of the time.

Andrea's hot sister back in the first season.

I have not noticed people getting that worked up about the Caesar-rape.    And I think a bunch of people's reaction are due to the fact that  such a well known and triumphant historical figure was involved, rather than the gender.

Friday:  My first Roller Derby ever.   It was in the big dome next to the Queen Mary where the Spruce Goose plane used to be displayed.   The roller derby was moderately entertaining.   Wached "Sparticus" when I got home.   That show is great.

"nobody bats an eye when a woman gets raped, however awful"?

Presumably Walsh made a lot of money.   He was pretty successful as a solo artist but nowhere near Eagles territory.   And it seemed that he was treated as a full band member back in the Hotel California days.   I think Frey was a total dick for having the attitude of "this is a 2 man band and you other guys are just
