I thought the product placement for the Ford truck was pretty obnoxious, but overall it was another funny episode.

Wasn't "Hey Jude" another one of these assembled Beatles albums that came out after "Yesterday and Today"?

Episodes is a thousand times funnier and more likable than Girls.

It's a matter of opinion but I really really disliked Amused to Death.   Maybe I never gave it a fair chance because my initial reaction was so bad.   I was also probably biased towards Radio KAOS because I was a big fan of KLOS/KMET night DJ Jim Ladd back in those days.    But I think we can all agree than both pale

Good observations.    I'm old enough to have been a fan when the later stuff was still being released and I remember thinking when Animals came out that I liked it but it was starting to seem that Roger was dominating the band too much.

I think the band broke during the Wall sessions.   That's when Waters fired Richard Wright, though he still let him play at the live shows.    And with only a couple of Dave's solos on The Final Cut, I always have considered it to be Roger's first, and best, solo album.

For years I've made the statement that each of Roger's solo albums wasn't quite as good as the one before.    And I always start the sequence with TFC.

As soon as they were watching TV I knew they were going to be showing Scarface and that we would hear Tony Montana talking about "Cock-a-roaches".    It was a tie in the exterminator's business and the shot of the "bug" mentioned in the review was of a cockroach.

I wasn't 12 but I was probably biased because some of it was shot at a University where I sometimes teach and they even used  one of my classrooms.    And there were enough science professor jokes to bias me towards liking the film.

Well I think Zom-com's practically qualify as a genre.
