eh, Talking Dead is what it is.   There is not much substance but I find it fun to check out most of the time after watching Walking Dead.    Sometimes I fast forward through a segment though.    Hardwick is pleasant enough and he does some good stuff at the Nerdist, so I like him.

Just don't watch the show.   The key to being a Kevin Smith fan is knowing when to say when.

Given the weekend box office, that should come to pass.

The first time I ever went to karaoke it was with a bunch of aspiring singers and we went to a place right by CBS studios.   3/4 of the people in there were seriously waiting to get discovered (this was back in pre-American Idol days).   I didn't do karaoke again for years after that.

I was thinking Men Without Hats Theater myself.

Talk to Her-  It was a good but very disturbing film.   The protagonist is a sweet guy who is "in love" with a woman who is in a coma.    Or perhaps it is closer to just stalking her, but in the movies we all expect the nice guy to end up with the girl.    But then he rapes the comatose girl and gets her pregnant and…

For me it already beats every other current comedy except Archer, and maybe Louie.   If it gets even better then that's great.

Flies multiply fast, but most of them don't live very long.

I grew up in Southern California and Fast Times at Ridgemont High did a great job of summing up that time and place.   I didn't feel connected to Dazed and Confused at all.
