Feeling like I need to rewatch this seven times. Have to say, this is an excellent review that elucidated a bunch of things I missed from laughing so hard. Here was the perfect episode for me; daringly ambitious with the format, and exquisitely insightful with the group dynamic. Fearless and heart-felt.

No, I just watch too much tv.

Black and blue no less. The use of colours on this show is incredible. I also noticed Holly's usual pink palette had hints of green this week. Her dad Walt is gone, Heisenberg is all she has now.

I figured the Ricin was a red herring and I researched white plants. That's it pretty much. I got lucky.

I can.

I watched the scene several times, I knew there was significance to Walt's gaze on the plant, since he was essentially playing Russian Roulette with himself.

I wasn't able to see the episode until today. I am full of glee and adrenaline right now.

Here to gloat. I called it. Lily of the Valley!

While I enjoyed the B-plot I found it really problematic. It was so disconnected from the main story, and had no thematic tie-in at all. I wish Robin would get over Barney, who was especially crass tonight. Her character really took a beating in this one for some cheap laughs.

The more I think about the more I'm inclined to believe Walt is responsible for the poisoning  The scene you described is the key clue. My guess on the  plant is Lily of the Valley. Here's an image of what it looks like potted http://www.whiteflowerfarm…. as the generic images don't quite match the plant from the

I found the whole ricin thing a little too contrived and it deflated a lot of the incredible tension from the last two efforts for me.

Actually the TARDIS has been keeping track of his journey since the beginning. In the classic series the companion Romana finds out how long it had been at that point. Add his formative years before he stole it and voila a good approximation.
