Yeah you're right. Just rewatched it.
I like how with this finale Moffat has changed the entire perspective of who the Doctor is in the universe moving him from from a god to myth. Will be interesting to see his interactions with powerful species next series and just what he'll do to remain in the shadows and relative secrecy. Will River be the companion…
The bridge is a temporary fix. Don't you remember Peter's speech before he winked out of existence? The problem is far from solved.
It has been done with redheads. http://www.youtube.com/watc…
even better rum soaked!
I know it's still early in the season but I was hoping we'd see some of the two sides working to solve the crisis. Shouldn't Walter be spending all of his time at the bridge room on Coney Island these days?
Also goes a long way to explaining why this version of Ourlivia is so cold. That's not something you'd ever really forget or totally recover from.
This relaunch was definitely targeting a reader like me. It worked to a large degree too. My pull list:
She was shown smoking a spliff during the disturbing Yankee Doodle performance too.
She's the only recurring I would suggest for actual full cast member (the gang) status. With her friendship with Dee and her history with Frank it would be a natural transition. Make her a bar wench at the pub.
The twist better be that Whitney is a cyborg sent from the future to annoy us.
Wish they'd upgrade Artemis to full member of the gang.
Patricia Clarkson wasn't that great. Completely upstaged by Megan Mullally's one scene!
So who actually farted?
I found that really distracting too actually. Shoudn't they be running around in Alexander McQueen styled clothes?
I think you just figured out the twist with who the sixers are. Their future reality is at stake, sent back to defeat these invaders. Would clarify the seemingly contradictory line the leader of the sixers gave at the end if we assume they are from our time stream. They would have deep motivation to control the future.
Retool the show and make Sky the protagonist. Daddy issues are so played out.
It's the name of a city in Ontario.
Victoria's insight about Ted's relationships with Barney and Robin really focused the characterization of Ted and the greater dynamic at play. This season has surprised me so far and is a real return to form. Robin was so invested in Ted's story, she kept pulling him back to the topic over Lily's chest butt.
