I wanted a chance to hear what AV Club thinks about it which is why I left that comment. I read the script a little while ago, and the introduction by King is fascinating to me in how influential the mini-series is for a lot of tv that followed. Especially LOST.

"Storm of the Century" is my favourite filmic work by King. He has a true talent for screenwriting and tv at that.

I feel like this episode could have been a lot stronger with a scene involving Mance.

They've established Qyburn more than enough to do Robert Strong properly.

I particularly liked how Dany refused to make eye contact with Jorah.

I loved Alias, but that was a huge miscast, and Elektra was an even worse film than Daredevil. There's no way that will ever happen.

Marvel has planned out the next decade of films and shows already.

Makes sense that the Netflix series won't have to rely on star power. The Marvel brand is powerful.

I was under the impression that DD is first, then JJ, followed by Luke Cage and Iron Fist, leading up to The Defenders with all four featured. Sort of like a television spin on The Avengers formula. There's no reason Marvel won't develop the other two as well, keep in mind they are also working on Agent Carter and…
