we've had 2 new Shadow Warrior games, and the 1st one was great, so it's already happened with games

i've watched a bit of Preacher, and Cassidy just feels like Rudy. not a bad thing, but even after reading the comics it still feels like Rudy

it's pretty much some normal people and an Unknown Armies Merchant Avatar
wow that's a niche reference

this and Adam Curtis

yeah this sounds amazing… i love trippy, abstract documentaries. like Adam Curtis stuff, or Wisconsin Death Trip

the original Wicker Man is brilliant

didn't they make a sequel to the original Wicker Man, the good one?

I got something to say
I remade your show today
And it doesn't matter much to me
As long as it is dead

the problem with this movie is it has like 10 endings

one of my fave movie reviewers, Outlaw Vern, coined the term 'mega acting' for Cage. he's not overacting, he's acting as big as the movie requires to make it fun

i saw Incredible Melting Man not on MST3K. it was clearly just an SFX reel, but i can still remember the gory SFX. Laserblast is kinda an inspiration for Dan Clowes' DEATH RAY

i've got a friend who runs a cult movie night & hates how MST3K mocks movies. especially stuff like Danger, Diabolik!, which was a legit great spy thriller with amazing production design. i like appreciating those movies on their own merits

this sounds like the Danny Peary cult movie books, which i loved as a kid

i live in Australia, you don't need to tell me twice

LEGO Batman was genius, it was all about Batman learning Grant Morrison's First Truth of Batman

yeah exactly, and the production design is beautiful

god i love that show

what about Logan?

he was great in LEGO Batman

just realized this is actually the 'coincidence based investigation' that Dirk Gently and Dale Cooper use
