Dammit, I just posted the same thing, but not as eloquently.

I think part of the reason S2 lacked focus is that Lynch was less-involved, due to other projects/losing interest. I remember reading a quote from Sherilyn Fenn where she said that the cast felt "abandoned by" him.

Laura Palmer is by far my favorite character in anything ever. I find her endlessly fascinating.

Per my religious beliefs, I believe in the concept of original sin. I don't believe anyone is "innocent."

I thought of that scene when I heard that Hillary Clinton, who grew up in a suburb of Chicago, claim that she was a "lifelong Yankees fan."

I once looked up reverse mortgages because I had no idea what they were (since I'm under-60) and they show so many commercials for them on TV. When I found out how they worked, I couldn't wrap my mind around how they can even be legal.

I've seen The Reflecting Sin.

I saw this late (early morning) on HBO one night during a bad bout of insomnia. I'd heard of it because Sarah Polley was in it and I'm a fan of hers. I remember really liking the first half, and finding the second half forgettable.

They like torrents?

You saw a different cut that I did!
SPOILER ALTERT: Do you think Tom is going to move to America or not?

Also, that episode of General Hospital where he jumped off a roof while a drag queen gave a spoken-word performance of "Mad World" by Tears for Fears.

When I was a kid, my dad (who was a republican) explained how the electoral college worked and even thing I thought it was stupid.

What happened to you to make you such an asshole?

Every time one of those commercials comes on TV, my mom says; "Fonzie, you should be ashamed of yourself!"

He actually was a Vietnam vet.

I don't know, Daniel was a couple of years older than everybody else so him giving up on some of that teenage BS didn't seem all that unrealistic.

It says exactly that in the little booklet that came with the DVD.

Me too. People make hate on James Franco, but to me he'll always be pushing that AV equipment down the hall with a smile on his face and it makes me tear up.

I'm currently staying with my mother and helping her clean out her house/attic/shed.

One of my neighbors gave me some hot green peppers her husband grew in his garden. Today I chopped one into the meatloaf that I made for my lunch. It was fantastic.
