People laugh, but as someone who has voted for a third-party candidate in every election since I turned 18, I can tell you that people will react strongly when you tell them that you did. Including actual death threats.

Generally consensusis that George Cukor's 1933 adaption is better because all old things are better than newer ones. Nevermind that it's stagey, all the actors look far too old, and besides Hepburn none of them sound like they're from New England.

Unpopular opinion: The 1994 adaption is the best one. Unlike previous adaptions the actors all looked age appropriate and the March sisters actually looked like they could be related. It's also more faithful to the original novel.
There was one in like 1997 or 1998. Mariel Hemingway and Chris Sarandon were in it.
