It's one of the first I read, and still my favourite. It reads almost like a TV show with each chapter a(n almost independant) new episode in their adventures.

Currently reading Against the Day, it's not as good as Mason and Dixon (my favourite, haven't read GR yet), but it's definitely worth picking up, it is very long, but fairly easy to read.
I see what Zack means by "lack of centre" though, it's definitely sprawling, but that leads to a very efficient world-building.

They have their "Behind the scenes"/business interview series for music, they should make one for movies as well, or just extend the Random Roles to really anyone (editors, DP, make-up, etc.).
