I'm happy for any exposure the New Wave gets, but here it ends up having the reverse effects they were looking for (I assume). As you point out the "screenplay" Truffaut supplied was about four pages long, and the New Wave (especially the Cahiers gang) was all about the director, in the end Terry sounds like he

I'd have put Man Without Past as his best known, or is it just for France?
It was even a proper crossover hit.

I didn't think the mention of the possible Sinatra affair was entirely irrelevant, even if it was character assassination on Mia Farrow.
He was pointing out the elements supporting that Mia Farrow "convinced" Dylan she had been mollested, her rationale being to get revenge for Woody's betrayal, by bringing up the

But given that we are shown why they have to be that comitted to buying the tickets, her making fun of them ends up being more about them going to Comicon in general than anything else.

You may want to check your sources on that, I don't really see any proliferation.
And given that they are snooping worldwide, any attack anywhere in the world is still proof of their incompetence.

I very much have a rock fan mindset. If it's not a CD album, I'm unlikely to be aware it exists, which becomes a problem with the few electronica artists I like as they're likely to have EPs all over the place.

As far as I know, it's just the three albums, they're all great and different enough that I can't really pick a favourite (not true, Loud Like Nature, because it's the last true punk record).

I've tried a cocktail bar that was mentioned here by HipsterDBag ages ago, we were welcome by a free http://69colebrookerow.com/… and nibbles. Followed a cocktail made with Merlet Cognac, Chamomile syrup, Smoked Frankincense which tasted like candy, very delicious. And one made of Myers Rum, Guinness Reduction, Lemon,

I've been marking the passing of Claudio Abbado by listening some of his recordings, mostly Brahms, Mendelssohn and Mahler.

I hope for you it works well.

Damn, I wish I'd been there then. The only Monteverdi I've seen is L'Incoronazione di Poppea, but as he's one of the few Baroque composers I consistently enjoy, I'm sure anything else works too.
On the other hand, I find most of baroque opera to be so mind-numbingly boring (Hi, Handel!), if that's what he was basing

Movies

What did you say in your video-essay?

The only movie this is encouraging me to see is Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa

I'd rather say around 25, as has been pointed out in other comments, there are a handful of records there I would expect someone older to either already have or not bother with at this stage.

I often wonder what people did during their days at work before the internet.

I was talking to friends about the show, they seemed to doubt how worth of their time it was; when I pointed:"and then, Anne Frank shows up" they realised the madness needed to be seen.

I agree it's impossible to take seriously, it is after all a show with serial killers, aliens, possessed nuns, mutants created by Nazi doctor, evil murderous children, a woman convinced she is Anne Frank, and apparently killer Santa and angels (I haven't reached that part yet), most of those in just the one episode.

I really like it, when I first starting watching it, it seemed to square exactly with what I expected from mentions around here, good fun and far too ridiculous to be really scary or creepy (save for some of the scenes with Lalaurie and her slaves); I was quite surprised to see it was seen as a step down.
But Asylum
